David Petersen

David is a versatile member of the OGP team. He is bilingual and oversees DCFC’s supplementary programming components, scheduling and identifying opportunities like guest speakers and workshop leaders to empower our players to grow off the field. He has been a teacher, coach and Athletic Director at a Title I DC Public School for several years.  While coaching Middle School Soccer for DC Scores one of his players asked him for help to play on a travel soccer team.  Recognizing the substantial cost and transportation barriers that lower-income youth soccer players face, he has worked passionately since then to ensure all players have opportunities to participate in high level soccer programs.
